After seven weeks of school holiday we got the kids back to school today. Yeay! The schools are closed tomorrow due to industrial action by the auxiliary staff. Yikes!
What on earth is industrial action? Is that what Americans call an "in service" day--training at the school for the teachers?
I've been reading lots of back to school posts today on both sides of the pond. Yours may be the most exuberant because all the others were from teachers or school employees. LOL
THE AWFUL WAFFLE OF A PRISON CHAPLAIN, MINISTER, MINISTER'S WIFE, MINISTER'S DAUGHTER AND MINISTER'S NIECE, MOTHER OF FOUR. THAT'S NOT A TEAM OF PEOPLE. THAT'S ME, ANNEDROID.
I WILL SAY THIS ONLY ONCE!

My youngest is seriously miffed. He has a skool trip to the Fringe today, will be up at 6am and won't be able to enjoy the extra "day off"!
