Some sums for you:
Puppy + sunshine + 4 kids + beach = loads of fun.
Wet puppy + a surprise jump by said puppy onto tummy of sunbathing lady = yikes! and "So sorry!"
Wet puppy + a surprise jump by said puppy onto tummy of sunbathing lady who turns out to like wet puppies = smiles from her and relief from me!
Incidentally, it may surprise you to know (it still surprises me) that I once flew a helicopter above this very beach. (I got a lesson for a special birthday and, yes, it had dual controls). I had to follow the course of the river, and it's a very bendy river indeed so that wasn't easy.

Oh I just want to love on that sweet, adorable puppy face! Gorgeous beach!
Is that on the Tay somewhere up beyond Stanley?
Wonderful pics of Flora. I especially love the top one. And I'm tremendously impressed that you've flown a helicopter.
where is that gorgeous beach??
THM and Lynn, if I told you I'd have to kill you. The road to it is narrow (very) and few there are that find it. It's a secret passed on by word of mouth only and naming it on the internet would be a betrayal of the chosen few. You can email me if you really want to know, though!
RHC, don't be too impressed. The pilot was intervening frequently to keep us alive, and I felt sick for an hour afterwards, so it's clearly not my calling.
Sabrina, thanks! And it's lovely to have you visit the blog - please come back.
I think the puppy looks really sorry in the first photo!
You must have been abroad. I know for a fact that it is still snowing in Scotland: I watch Taggart!
For those of you who've never watched Taggart, practise saying, "Therr's been a murrdurrr, surr" and you've got the basic plot.
Looks like the puppy had a great time. Wait.......Scotland? Sunshine? Has hell frozen over? ;-)
