On 17th June, I posted about the Church's similarities and differences to the infamous Borg enemies of Star Trek's crew. Tonight, while googling instead of sermon-writing which was what I should be doing (I was in need of a break, though) I came across this picture of someone's idea of what the "new Jerusalem" mentioned in Revelation chapter 21 would look like.
Is it just me or does it look just a LITTLE bit like the Borg ship only shinier? There you go, I knew I was onto something...

By George! They do look similar!
I continue to enjoy your posts. Hope you get your sermon finished to your satisfaction.
I've need to get off the Internet and get busy preparing a lesson for our adult Sunday School class; I'm filling in for our deacon. Always makes me a bit nervous.
Best wishes.
Keep taking the tablets!
LOL...too funny!...Do you think the writers of Startrek were aware of this connection?:)
I like your blog...I am just entering the world of prison ministry, so I am absorbing all I can and I stumbled across your blog...God's hand, I am sure:)
God Bless and Smiles to your day!
Yeah. Same can be said of the All-Spark (The Cube) from Transformers. I believe that all faiths and cultures have similar ideas. Just put forth in a different manner.
Marcus Borg has a spaceship? Cool!
Giant, golden, cube-shaped cities floating down from the sky is one of the reasons I don't take Revelation seriously. This is a magic-mushroom vision, not a glimpse into reality.
I have read here your article, keep on writing the exact same stuff, I female viagra would surely be fond to hear extra stuff you.
Lots of thanks for info, I will remark I practiced the identical stuff once I got the similar difficulty like the guy that is writing.http://www.healingpatches.com/
